I've been an esthetician for more than 16 years, and I've learned that honesty never goes out of style.
If a treatment isn't right for your skin, I'll tell you. If there's a simpler option that makes more sense, I'll recommend that instead. I don't believe in overselling, overpromising, or making skincare more complicated than it needs to be.
I teach the lash extension certification program at the community college and wrote the curriculum myself, so education has always been one of my favorite parts of this career.
These days, I've found myself spending more and more time helping women care for their skin. There's something incredibly rewarding about watching someone's confidence grow as they start seeing real, healthy changes.
Lashes are still one of my favorite services, and they're not going anywhere. I'm just a little more intentional about how many I take on these days. After thousands of hours spent creating tiny works of art one lash at a time, I've learned that taking care of my hands means I get to keep doing what I love for years to come.
